Benefits to Becoming an MDO

All MDOs have a stated mission; this mission is the ultimate goal of their existence. To that end, their day-to-day efforts are structured in such a way that to stay the course of fulfilling their mission. This means choosing the best standards to implement that fit their stated goals. This includes transparency. All MDOs list their stated mission on their website. This means that an MDO's patrons will never have to worry that the dollars they are spending doing business with an MDO are going to benefit a cause that is contrary to their convictions. The following are additional ways that each MDO may elect to implement to help create an environment that is kingdom minded. These goals include caring for our fellow man, preserving freedom and liberty, and being motived by a mission rather than simply profits. At the same time, MDOs are structured to enhance profitability so that they may be sustainable.

MDOs are committed to ensuring that a % of their profits go to fulfilling their stated missions. This can be met by the MDO directly or through donations to churches or other nonprofit organizations that work to fulfill their stated mission. These missions can be as diverse as the organizations themselves. Some key examples of being kingdom-minded include the following: working to protect the value of human life and human rights, fighting the blights of trafficking and slavery, seeing people around the globe saved, healed, and delivered, working for the preservation of 1st Amendment rights of freedom of religion, free speech and freedom of assembly, advancing the value of human capital as the foundation of free enterprise, and protecting the world's greatest asset: the hearts, minds, and bodies of children around the globe. 

Employees and staff of an MDO are encouraged to develop creative ways to ensure the active fulfillment of the stated mission, ensuring that everyone at an MDO is passionate about their job. This translates into actively finding new ways to give back to the communities in which they live as well as to those in need around the globe.  This helps keep our communities strong and makes MDOs both an indispensable part of society as well as a vibrant place to work. It also ensures that each MDO actively values every member on its team from the top to the bottom, and that it never loses sight of the true reason for why it was created.

This certification holds those in our network to the highest humanitarian, social, business, and environmental standards. MDOs are the pioneers of how business can be done for GOOD. This includes finding ways to promote the health of all of God's Creation, humans, animals, and the world.
